More Life is a graduation photography studio that approached us for a digital marketing strategy to help them grow their business. They have over 7 years of experience, more than 100 past clients, numerous press features, a unique creative approach, and a strong portfolio.
Our challenge was to help them identify their unique value proposition, create a brand voice that resonated with millennials, and ultimately drive sales. In our brainstorming sessions, we discovered the biggest hurdle for clients in a photoshoot is ultimately feeling comfortable.
More Life’s biggest asset was their years of experience working with clients of all types, so we made sure to emphasize this in order to establish credibility and a sense of security for the buyer. Next, our user research made it clear that millennials do not like traditional marketing — they don’t like being “Talked at” and they want to be understood. So we used a brand voice that was relatable, funny, and lighthearted.
We also designed a user experience that was very visually driven because when it comes to selling photography services, You’ve Got to See It To Believe It. We also helped productize their services and developed an online booking system. This effectively streamlined the biggest bottleneck in the client acquisition process. And to raise awareness, we used a combination of print and online marketing – our biggest driver of traffic, however, was I
